This time of the year with all the hustle and bustle of all the Holiday madness it is often hard to just stop and enjoy the moment that you are in. Last week my family and I were busy running around town doing some Christmas Shopping and errands. Our last stop was to get groceries at Festival. My mind was on getting in and out quickly so I could get dinner going while my husband Jeremy, could to take the car to get the oil changed. Jeremy saw the little shopping cart there for kids and thought it would be fun for our 13 month old son Mason to push it while we shopped because he LOVES to push things around. I was against the idea at first because I just wanted to hurry up and get home.
I decided to just relax and let Mason have some fun. As soon as he was put behind the shopping cart he took off down aisle. Nothing was gonna stop him! Luckily we were there during a slower time so it wasn’t too crowded and he didn’t run into anyone, but he was having a lot of fun. We were still able to get our shopping done, our son had an enjoyable experience and we even got a cute picture of the moment.
I’m so glad that Jeremy slowed me down and got me to just relax and enjoy the moment. Even though the Holidays cause everyone to get a little crazy, you need to sit back and enjoy the moment because if you don’t you just might miss it.
